Overview

The day Imgonefishing hit me up for a video, he was in the middle of having his music shamelessly swindled by some random asshole who ripped his SoundCloud tracks, copyrighted them, and re-uploaded everything to Apple Music as his own. My approach was to turn that crossed line into cinematic revenge. I wrote and directed a satire music video reflecting Fishing’s adversity by giving the thief a little on-screen payback. Let’s call it a lo-fi, high-drama middle finger to music posers, told with humor and heart. Also, I convinced someone to let me borrow their boat, so I felt like I was channeling Lil Dicky and this was my “$ave Dat Money” moment. Ironically, the video itself was later banned from YouTube... by the same guy.
But shoutout to EthanUno for keeping it alive on his channel. Legends never die.
